Helping Kids Makes Our Hearts Race
“Having Muscular Dystrophy myself, I know the feeling of wanting to live a normal life,” said Charlie Floege, President. “Fortunately, I have done everything that I can to let this disease from keeping me from living a full life and enjoying my favorite sport. I hope to do the same for these children and their families.”
Helping Kids Makes Our Hearts Race is a 501c3 non-profit volunteer organization, founded in 2009 by Founder, Bill Montgomery (a.k.a. Couchman) and President, Charlie Floege that provides once in a lifetime Sports Experiences to children and families, throughout North Carolina, and various states, who are affected by Muscular Dystrophy.
Helping Kids Makes Our Heart Race makes these experiences possible through your generous donations, volunteers and partners. Since its creation, Helping Kids Makes Our Hearts Race has given local children affected by Muscular Dystrophy an opportunity to not only attend races at the Charlotte Motor Speedway and zMAX Dragway, but meet some of their favorite drivers, tour the pits and watch these events from the infield. Our goal is to continue to offer the most memorable experiences possible at:
- Helping Kids Makes Our Heart Race Night with the Charlotte Checkers
- 4Wide Nationals at zMAX Dragway
- Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway
- Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway
- Southern National Speedway
- Other Sporting Events
In order to make these experiences and more, the most memorable ever, we need your help! If you are a sports team /company who would like to offer a once in a lifetime experience or if you are an individual who would like to make a monetary donation please contact President Charlie Floege directly at firstname.lastname@example.org or (704) 785-9774.
