Swiss Hutless Karts International, Eurokart Racing Swiss Hutless Karts North America and Chris Rock Motorsports would like to announce that an agreement and contract has been signed with an American driver to compete at the highest levels in North America in 2017.
We would like to announce the signing of KZ pilot and new for 2017 Stock Honda pilot Mr. Alex Manglass. “We are thrilled to have Alex come on board with us in 2017 said Bob Falcone” of Eurokart. We simply cannot ask for a more dedicated or accomplished driver than Alex. He is the penultimate professional on every level….Speak softly and carry a fast lap time to play on Theodore Roosevelt’s words said Bob.
Alex is always around to help our young drivers and has already been a big inspiration for another fledgling gearbox driver of ours. His accomplishments run so deep that we would need to enclose a resume’ just to try and keep count of all his victories!
Alex has enjoyed running for Chris Rock Motorsports for the past two years campaigning a DR, a Praga and a CRG in his quest for victory. Chris is excited to expand in 2017 with competing in two gearbox classes in the incredibly talent deep North East Shifter Series (now owned and campaigned as part of the F-Series) as well as SKUSA regionals and the 2017 Supernats in Las Vegas Nevada.
Alex will also be working with technical director and factory owner Niklaus Gurtner to help develop the brand with testing new updates or ideas that Alex would possibly like to see addressed on future models.
Alex has also garnered an invite to the prestigious Swiss Hutless Spring Driver Academy to work with other SH pilots including Audi DTM driver Nico Mueller and LeMans champion Neel Jani all while giving tuning guru Chris Rock the opportunity to work with other factory tuners and mechanics.
Alex will be campaigning both current models of Swiss Hutless gearbox chassis including the Niktec and Swiss 1 Evo, he has also picked up sponsorship from the MiR Raceline USA Driver Academy as well as assistance from LeCont Tires so far for 2017.
Welcome to the team Alex and more importantly welcome to our Swiss Hutless racing family here in North America.
