After opening the 2012 season at Florida Winter Tour and immediately travelling out west to the Gatorz Challenge of the Americas program, it was back to sunny South Florida for wheel-to-wheel action at the Homestead Karting Complex.

As a member of Team Canada at the 2012 Rotax Grand Finals, Canadian pilot Parker Thompson travelled to the Sunshine State to compete in the annual Florida Winter Tour.

The 2011 season could not have started better for Parker Thompson, in his Rotax Junior debut, as he scored two pole positions and two main event victories at the opening round of the Gatorz Challenge of the Americas in Phoenix, AZ.
